[OPLINLIST] Help Choose the Ohio Center for the Book's 2026 Great Reads from Great Places Selections

The Ohio Center for the Book is our state’s affiliate of the Center for the Book at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

Every year, each of the 56 affiliate Centers across the country chooses a book for adults and a book for younger readers to represent their state/territory at the National Book Festival in Washington, DC. Those books become part of the Great Reads from Great Places booklist!

We’re looking for your nominations for the 2026 selections as well as whether you’d like to be a part of the committee that will select the final honorees! We’re looking for library professionals and literary experts to be part of the process.
