Public Sale Announcement: GHPL PopUp Library Vehicle
Grandview Heights Public Library is offering its electric-powered PopUp Library<https://www.ghpl.org/services/#toggle-id-18> vehicle for sale.
Vehicle Details:

  *   Model: 2014 GEM Car Model ELXD
  *   Dimensions: 55” W x 94” L x 80” H (custom rear body: 55” W x 174” L x 90” H)
  *   Power Source: Rechargeable batteries (similar to those used in golf carts), replaced in 2025
  *   Top Speed: 25 mph
  *   Condition: Lightly used, well maintained, low mileage, with some damage to the front hood. Replacement hood sources and estimated costs are available upon request.
  *   Note: Current GHPL graphics will be removed prior to pickup. Vehicle is sold as-is.

Originally designed and customized for GHPL, this low-speed, electric vehicle served as our PopUp Library, allowing staff to transport and display materials at community events. Visitors could browse and check out books, sign up for library cards, and learn about library resources.
Important: This is a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV). Regulations for LSVs and golf carts vary by city—please consult your local municipality for applicable laws in your area.
