With Congress in recess through early September, now is an ideal time to
invite your members of Congress to visit your library and see first-hand
how E-Rate supports affordable, reliable internet access for your
community.


The American Library Association's Show Up for E-Rate

resource offers practical tips for planning a visit, sharing local impact
stories, and making the case for why E-Rate matters. Congressional recess
is one of the best opportunities to build relationships with lawmakers and
demonstrate the essential role libraries play in connecting people to
education, employment, health information, government services and more.

If you do this, OPLIN would like to assist. Let us know how we can help
