Thanks to additional grant funding, the annual Family Engagement Leadership Summit is once again free to attend!
Family Engagement Leadership Summit: Featured Sessions on Early Literacy
Across the country, literacy educators, librarians, and other leaders are seeing meaningful results when families, schools, and communities inspire and support literacy together.
The Family Engagement Leadership Summit<https://ohiofamiliesengage.osu.edu/summit/> is a virtual professional learning event for educators, administrators, coaches, and community partners committed to strengthening family-school-community partnerships. It takes place online on Friday, September 18, 2026.
The Summit connects research to practice, providing actionable strategies that can support early literacy and development:

  *   Up to 8 contact hours
  *   Practical strategies you can apply immediately
  *   National speakers and promising practices from schools across the country
  *   Opportunities to strengthen collaboration with families to support children's early literacy
  *   Important topics affecting literacy including mental health, attendance, communication, and mathematics.
Featured Literacy Speakers: Kristin Farley (Literacy Specialist at the Ohio Department of Children and Youth) and Dr. Amy Kronberg (University of Dayton and the University of Cincinnati).
There is no cost to attend this year's Summit. All registrants will receive a discount on an annual National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement (NAFSCE) membership.
