The State Library and Teaching Books are partnering to host a new slate of Ohio Collections Analysis Initiative<https://library.ohio.gov/libraries/training-and-development/ohio-collection-analysis-initiative> (OCAI) webinars this fall.

To kick things off, the first webinar will be Going Beyond America250: Analyzing Your Historical Fiction & Nonfiction on August 18 at 3 p.m. The 60-minute webinar can help participants learn how to build momentum from America250 celebrations to continue young readers' interest in history. Reach even more readers by using TeachingBooks to create targeted displays, expand on programs or lessons, and identify award-winning and acclaimed titles for a wide variety of audiences. Analyze lists, and then search and filter to find graphic novels, engaging biographies, and both nonfiction and historical fiction to meet your readers' needs.

On September 15 at 3 p.m., join The State Library of Ohio and TeachingBooks for Fitting Collections Analysis into Your Busy Work Day. Join us to examine real world situations and work tasks where the TeachingBooks' Collection Analysis tools can help you maximize your limited time. Rather than another thing on your to-do list, leave with examples of how the tools can support and optimize your collection work from display creation to purchasing.

This initiative provides the tools, time, and support to consider your library's print collections for children and young adults.
