Please join the Ohio Digitization Interest Group<https://ohiodig.org/> for our in-person meeting at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Old Worthington Library<https://www.worthingtonlibraries.org/visit/locations/old-worthington-library> in Old Worthington (Columbus area).



(September is our last in-person meeting of this cycle! We now move to virtual for November, January, and March. In-person meetings resume in May 2027.)

Registration: Open until Friday, Sept 18, 12 noon (or limit of 50 is reached). Early Bird: Must register by Sept 4, 5pm to also attend the Worthington Historical Society's Orange Johnson House tour. Topic: Migration Conversation: Community Chat.

What’s working? What’s changing? And what can we learn from each other? Join OhioDIG for a day of connection and insight from across the Ohio digitization community. Following social time, we will begin with a featured presentation on the migration of Worthington Memory<https://www.worthingtonmemory.org/>, including time for Q&A. Then we will move to an open forum discussion about all things migration. Join us after the round robin for a tour of the nearby Orange Johnson House Museum!

Speakers:

“Making Connections with Worthington Memory.” Meredith Southard, Local History librarian, Worthington Libraries. Since 2002, Worthington Memory<https://www.worthingtonmemory.org/> has been the digital home of Worthington, Ohio's history. The website got a redesign in 2025, and Meredith will share its new features, including family connections, community leaders, and enhanced digital maps.

  *   12:10-12:50pm: Brown bag lunch: Round Robin & announcements. (At the OhioDIG Round Robin all attendees have the chance to share what they are working on, and to ask questions of the group.)
  *   1:15pm: Optional: Tour of nearby Orange Johnson House.

Parking: Old Worthington Library has three dedicated parking lots. A lot adjacent to the library's north entrance, via Stafford Ave, offers accessible parking for those with disability plates or placards. Parking is also available in a lot adjacent to the Library's south entrance, via Hartford St, and a lot off Stafford Ave, across the street from the Library and east of the Re/Max lot. Street parking is also available, along with a few angled parking spots on Stafford Ave and Hartford St bordering the ball field.

Tour: Must register by Sept 4 5pm to attend the free tour following the meeting (WHS needs to gather volunteers to lead the tours of small groups).
