Job Title: Adult and Teen Services Librarian
Location: Clyde Public Library, Clyde, Ohio
Pay Range: $36,500–$41,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
Typical Schedule:
Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Position Summary
Clyde Public Library is seeking an Adult and Teen Services Librarian to support programming, outreach, and public service for adult and teen patrons in a small rural library setting.
Primary Responsibilities

  *
Provide reference, readers’ advisory, and technology assistance in person, by phone, and online
  *
Plan and present adult and teen programs, including occasional off-site programs
  *
Coordinate presenters, logistics, and promotional materials
  *
Support outreach efforts and community partnerships
  *
Assist with circulation and public service desk coverage as needed
  *
Supervise library operations in the absence of the Library Director, as assigned
  *
Occasional local or regional travel for programs, meetings, or training is required

Qualifications

  *
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  *
Experience in public service, programming, education, or libraries
  *
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  *
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
