Hi Yvonne!

Westerville doesn't "track" our orders or do anything similar to what y'all are doing right now, so I'm not sure what purpose this workflow is serving y'all, but I can tell you what we do.

UPS is our Ingram delivery provider. We do get picking slips emailed to us in the morning for the packages that will be arriving that day. Typically we receive 5-6 boxes a day. But the packing slips weren't always reliably sent or complete. So to supplement, instead of logging into iPage and checking shipments one at a time, we signed up for an USP My Choice Business account, which is free, and check every morning to see what packages are coming to us. Our only purpose in this is to better anticipate the type of day we are going to have. So if you have additional questions you are answering through your cardstock process, this may be nothing. 😅

Are there other purposes the cardstock workflow is serving?

Hello all,

We currently use Ingram to order books and rely on their "generate print slip" feature to print order details onto cardstock, which we then cut manually.

We are looking for a more efficient and cost-effective way to track our orders without the expense of cardstock and ink. Does anyone have an updated process or digital system for tracking orders that they would recommend?
