Good Morning,

The Delaware County District Library is hiring a full-time Outreach
Librarian.  This position focuses on providing programming and reference
services to library patrons, matching their information/entertainment needs
to available resources.


*Key Responsibilities for this position include:*


   - Developing and evaluating programming needs and services;
   - Providing direct services to patrons (daycares, senior care
   facilities, area schools, and home delivery patrons);
   - Maintaining the collection;
   - Driving Outreach Department vehicles; and
   - Serving as the customer relations contact and community outreach
   representative.

An ALA-accredited MLS or MLIS degree is required; previous library
experience is preferred.  The work schedule is Monday - Friday; however,
the schedule may change as the needs of the Library and Department change.
The salary range for this exempt position is $51,048 to $76,572, depending
on qualifications.
