Topic: Navigating Title II ADA Digital Accessibility Implementation

Join OhioDIG as we return to Dayton & Wright State University to explore how a range of institutions and organizations are complying with new ADA Title II regulations related to digital accessibility and web content. Learn about what’s been accomplished and how, lessons learned, and what’s still to be done.

Speakers:

– Title II Accessibility in the CORE Scholar Institutional Repository. Alexis Whitney, Wright State University Digital Initiatives and Metadata librarian. Whitney's presentation will explore the Libraries’ approach to implementing Title II accessibility requirements within the institutional repository and digital archive, highlighting the workflows, challenges, and practical solutions developed to improve the accessibility of digital collections while balancing compliance, resource constraints, and long-term access goals.
