You don't often get email from mpaul at seolibraries.org. Learn why this is important<https://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification>
We have a set of shelves that used to hold AV that we use for puzzles.

Patrons swap out all the time. It seems to be well loved.

We do put the months and year on the box bottom. Periodically we take some to the thrift store, but we haven't had to lately.

I am attaching a photo of our puzzles.

We have a permanent puzzle exchange collection. Some people bring puzzles in and don’t take any, others borrow, but don’t necessarily donate. Once we got started, we have no problem maintaining the collection – we often have to weed it out because we have more than we have room for. It’s very popular.

Hello,

I'm looking into setting up a passive puzzle exchange at our branch location. Everything I've read online so far suggests setting up a "take one, leave one" policy, as well as asking participants to make sure their puzzle is in good condition with all pieces present.

Any libraries out there with a puzzle exchange, I'm looking for general advice on how to set up and maintain one. Is it as simple as what I've read? I'd love to hear ideas!

Many thanks,
