We also use Better World Books for our book sale leftovers. I do want to add, though, that they have different contract terms available depending on your needs. I know of many libraries and Friends groups that scan their books--we've tried that in the past, but it's time consuming and they only want a small fraction, so you're still stuck with a bunch of leftovers.

We switched to a contract where we're not required to scan--we just send them everything that hasn't sold after a couple sales (provided it's in decent condition) and they sell or recycle as they see fit. The catch is that we have to send a minimum of 15 boxes at a time and don't get any financial kickback, but it's worth it to get our excess leftovers out of storage.
