Way Public Library in Perrysburg, Ohio, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking professional to serve as its next Library Director.



Serving the Perrysburg community since 1881, Way Public Library is a highly regarded and well-supported public library in one of Northwest Ohio’s most dynamic and growing communities.  Perrysburg offers a vibrant blend of small-town character, strong community connections, and continued growth, creating an exciting environment for a library that plays an important role in the educational, cultural, and civic life of its residents.  With annual operating revenue of approximately $3.6 million, circulation exceeding 800,000 items, and a dedicated, experienced staff, Way offers an exciting opportunity for a leader who values public service, community engagement, organizational development and innovation.



The next Director will build upon a strong foundation while guiding the Library into its next chapter.  We are seeking a collaborative leader with the vision and ability to develop staff, strengthen community partnerships, responsibly manage public resources, and respond to the evolving needs of a growing community.



Candidates must hold a master’s degree from an ALA-accredited library and information studies program and have a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible professional library experience.
