Network Services Customer Update - November 14, 2003


Scheduled Maintenance:


Tuesday, November 18, 3:00 - 6:00 a.m.

ITSD network engineers will be replacing a switch on the 15th floor of the
Vern Riffe Center.  A 30 minute outage is expected.

ITSD network engineers will be relocating a line card from the primary
Internet border router to the secondary Internet border router.  No
outage is expected.


Completed Maintenance:

Tuesday, November 11, 3:00 - 6:00 a.m. (Veteran's Day)

ITSD network engineers made routing adjustments on several core routers.
This adjustment will provide a more robust fail-over in the event of an
outage on one of our upstream ISP connections.

ITSD network engineers performed maintenance on an UPS unit at the Rhodes
Tower.

ITSD network engineers changed the State of Ohio's primary Internet Service
Provider from AT&T to TWT.
