[OPLINTECH] Another Virus Protection Option

In October, OPLIN sent out an e-mail outlining an offer from Symantec
for Antivirus protection. OPLIN understands that each of your networks
are configured and utilized in a unique way.  To aid in filling these
diverse needs, we are happy to identify another virus protection option
that may be a benefit to your library.
 
Sophos is offering their Enterprise edition for $8.00 per seat, which
includes monthly updates via CD or the web for one year.  There is a ten
(10) workstation minimum for any organization. Staff home system
coverage is also included in this offer.  Each organization must supply
the temporary use of their CD-ROM or provide a copy of their CD-ROM to
allow for staff/employee updates to their personal home systems.

Sophos has indicated that orders can be processed through Management
Assistance, Inc. To contact Management Assistance, Inc. and take
advantage of this offer, please e-mail
sophos-ohio at manasst.com. The e-mail should include the following
information to order a new license:
 
1. The number of licenses required (number of PCs/Servers) in the
Library.  
2. Library Name
3. Contact person, phone, and e-mail address
4. Library address, city, state, and zip
5. Purchase order
