[Cross posted; apologies for duplication.]
OPLIN Support Center staff will be making changes to=20
the network configuration of OPLIN's servers Friday
morning, May 7. This is necessary to improve security
on the firewall that protects the mail server from=20
viruses and hacking, and to move the new OPLIN website=20
servers to the core.
Access to mail.oplin.org and to new.oplin.org will
be cut early Friday morning. We plan to restore mail
access by 9:30 AM, and website access by noon.
As with previous interruptions, those of you with
oplin.org e-mail accounts will temporarily be unable
to access them, but you will not lose messages. You
also will not be able to access the new OPLIN website
or the OPLIN OneSearch until the servers have been moved.
This will not otherwise affect your library's access to
the Internet.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Regards,
Don Yarman
