A server-based filter would probably give you more control, for instance =
with custom block lists, and better reporting. But some of these =
filters are scaled to start at 50 users, so they may not be cost =
effective for you.
We use N2H2 (SecureComputing) Bess filtering, and are quite happy with =
it. But we do have 50 users, so a server makes sense for us. We use =
general and adult user profiles on our public computers with different =
filtering levels, but can also temporarily override the filter.
