[OPLINTECH] Headphones

At Dayton Metro Library, we do not have public headphones as an option
currently. We might in the future. For those libraries that use public
headphones, we have a few questions. Do you allow headphones for adult
and children workstations? Do you sell headphones? Do you provide
headphones free? If free, what do you do about sanitation concerns?
Has sound become disruptive? What policies do you have? Thanks in
advance for your help and guidance.

At Clermont, we've been using Telex Explorer headphones. The volume
control is mounted on the headset. We previously used the Labtec, but
had problems with them cracking (as children could be rough putting them
on and off). The Telex models use wire in place of plastic for the
bridge and have proven to be much more durable.

Anyone got a suggestion for headphones with inline volume
control?
Seems like Labtec has discontinued the 835 model.
