Bluffton Public Library has been using MS Spyware Solution on our public pc's for about a month or so now. So far it's been great and we have had no problems. The only problem is it doesn't work for Windows 98. We still have a couple of computers that still use that. Guess it's time to upgrade.

  OPLINTECH:

If anyone is interested. Microsoft has released a beta version of a spyware program. I have it installed on my work computer and at home to see how it works. I'm quite impressed with it so far. You can download it for free at http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx.

If you have a computer that is really hacked by spyware - you might want to give it a try to see how it performs. The software has automatic updates just like the Windows OS system.

Friendly reminder, you should always use precaution when using Beta versions - remember they are still in the testing phase.
