[OPLINTECH] Games in the library

What specifically do you mean by using games? Are you asking whether we
allow customers to play games on our computers?
My answer is always "if our customers are able to do something on our
PC's it generally means that it is allowed by us."(that is unless it is
illegal activity.) We don't specifically block any games sites unless
they are known to distribute malware or viruses.

Of course we discourage our staff from playing games on company time
(did everyone see the article about NYC mayor firing an employee for
playing solitaire?)

We provide our customers a service of computer use for an allotted time.
We do not limit or control what they do on the computer during that
time. (again unless it is illegal activity upon which appropriate
actions are taken.)

This is not to say that we do not have blocks and policies in place to
prevent our system from being hacked into or defaced, we try to maintain
a balance to keep them as open as possible. If something doesn't work
on our systems there is probably a pretty darn good documented security
reason why it doesn't.
