Office of Information Technology Customer Update - January 6, 2006
ATM Network Outage: January 5, 2006
The OIT network had a failure on a core ATM switch at approximately
4:00pm on January 5, 2006. OIT engineers replaced the processor module
that they received earlier in the day from Cisco Technical Support.
OIT engineers rebooted the same core ATM switch at approximately 5:30pm
on January 5, 2005 to resolve an ATM issue. The network and ATM switch
appear to be stable after the reboot.
OIT engineers are continuing to work with Cisco's Technical Assistance
Center.
