See http://createpdf.adobe.com/ Adobe has a service that lets you
create a PDF from just about any document online. It works great with
publisher. The FREE trial lets you do about 5 docs. You can point
patrons to this to sign up to do one offs for free.
The best free app to put on your workstations is CutePDF
http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp It creates a printer
on your system that if you send the print job to it, it creates the file
as a PDF and of course FREE is the best price.

Hello,
Do any of you use applications (preferrably free) on your public PCs
that allow patrons to convert various documents into PDF??
I have a specific problem with Microsoft Publisher, but would like to
allow that patrons to convert any document into PDF to email, etc....
Thanks,
