[OPLINTECH] Wireless service to our patrons with our OPLIN service?

Denise,
The only thing I might add to the responses already posted is that
permitting wireless access in your library might be as simple as buying
a Linksys (Cisco) [or other favorite brand] wireless access point off
the shelf at your local computer retailer. Make sure it has NAT
features, as Jim suggested. Based on your questions and brief
description of your workstations, you may be looking for a rather simple
solution. As Mr. Kenzig suggested, though, definitely consult with your
integrator. They should (hopefully) be familiar with your library and be
in a good position to point you in the right direction.
Chad
Ps. Ask them about security as well. If your two OPLIN stations are
directly assigned a public IP address as you indicated, you should have
a personal firewall enabled on each workstation, at the least!
