How do I return OPLIN-provided equipment?
To return equipment, first e-mail the OPLIN Support
Center (support at oplin.org) with the following info:
• Write "Equipment Condition" in the subject line.
• For each piece of equipment you plan to return,
provide the equipment name, the asset tag number, the
serial number, and the condition. If the condition of a
piece of equipment is unusable, please give a brief
summary of the problem. If your library has in some way
altered the original configuration of the equipment,
please explain.
How do I ship the equipment?
U.S. Cargo can ship computer equipment for you, but it
is not part of the statewide library materials contract.
Rates:
$36.00 for one computer set (up to three boxes)
$51.25 for two computer sets (up to six boxes)
$3.00 for each additional box over six
The computers MUST travel on a Bill of Lading for
insurance coverage. Standard coverage is $100 per
shipment. Drivers can supply the Bill of Lading at the
time of pickup, or you can request blank BOLs when you
arrange for pickup.
To arrange for pickup, fill out the service form found
here:
