For many years Community Library hosted the local Chamber of Commerce
website.
We verified with OPLIN that it would be allowed.
As long as as there wasn't impact on the network communication and no money
derived from the website it was acceptable.
The COC furnished the PC, I developed the website and maintained the
website.
Thus the library had content control.
For the most part the site was static.
Feel free to call me if you want more details.

Subject: [OPLINTECH] Partnering with a local non-profit - websites
Hello Oplinlist,
I am wondering if there is anyone who has hosted a website using your
oplin provided T-1 for any local non-profits in your community, for example,
the local historical society, etc.
If so, is there a formal agreement and would you be so kind as to share
it?
What pitfalls or misunderstandings have been broached?
Would you have any advice for someone who is in the "talking stages" of a
project like this?
Thank you for your assistance,
Karen Davis, System Administrator
