Several of you recommened app4mac's wKiosk.  When I visit their site, 
they explain that their website is not compatible with Internet Explorer 
and CSS, and it won't let me go any further unless I use Safari or 
Firefox.  I'm taking this as a BIG warning in these days of 
accessibility.  The little "mac" and "universal" logos in the top right 
of their STOP screen are very ironic.

Next option is Deep Freeze for macs.
