Office of Information Technology Customer Update - February 2, 2007

 
Network Maintenance:

When: Every Tuesday

Time: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM

February 6 - OIT engineers will be performing the following maintenance
at the State of Ohio Computer Center and Rhodes State Office Tower.  5
minutes outages are expected for all software upgrades

ISPRHO (12000) - Upgrade software
 
BBSOC3 (7200) - Turn on routing between BBSOC5, BBSOC6 and BBSOC3
 
BBSOC6 (6500-Sup2) - Upgrade software
 
BBSOC4 (7200) - Upgrade software
 
BBSOCA (7500) - Upgrade software

February 13 - OIT engineers will be performing the following maintenance
at the State of Ohio Computer Center and Rhodes State Office Tower.  5
minutes outages are expected for all software upgrades

ISPSOC & ISPRHO - Correct routing issues
 
BBRHO4 (7200) - Upgrade software
 
BBSOC5 (6500 Sup720) - Upgrade software
 
BBSOCB (7500) - Upgrade software
 
BBRIF1 (3560) - Upgrade software
 
February 20 - OIT engineers will be performing the following maintenance
at the State of Ohio Computer Center and Rhodes State Office Tower.  5
minutes outages are expected for all software upgrades

ISPSOC (12000 - Replace GRP.  Remove unused modules.
 
BBRHO5 (6500 Sup720) - Upgrade software
 
BBRHO4 (7200) - Replace I/O-FE module
 
BBSOCA (7500) - Replace AIP module. Remove unused modules
 
February 27 - OIT engineers will be performing the following maintenance
at the State of Ohio Computer Center and Rhodes State Office Tower.

BBSOCB (7500) - Replace AIP module.  Remove unused modules
 
BBSOC4 (7200) - Replace I/O-FE.  Move modules to a different slot.
 
ISPRHO (12000) - Install redundant GRP module.


Firewall Maintenance:

Next Scheduled Maintenance: February 20, 2007

Time: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM.


Network Statistics and Graphs

The statistics server (http://stats.ohio.gov) used to provide customer
link statistics is no longer active.  Statistics will, from this point
on, be provided on request from a new website running software from
Solarwinds.  If any agency wishes for their account to be moved over to
this new service, please submit a request to the OCSSC at ocssc at ohio.gov


Ohio Customer Service & Security Center - After Hour Service Escalation
Procedure

Effective immediately, the following after hour (Monday through Friday,
5:00pm - 7:00am and Weekends) escalation list should be utilized when
service related matters need to be brought to the attention of UNS-NA
management.

Customers should wait a minimum of 30 minutes before attempts are made
to contact the next level of support
