Office of Information Technology Customer Update - February 15, 2007


SOCC Monthly Maintenance:

CB Richard Ellis will be performing their regularly scheduled monthly
load test on Sunday, February 18, 2007 between 12:00am and 2:00am.  This
maintenance will test the auto transfer switches and generators.  Please
contact SOCC Building Management if you have any questions.

Network Maintenance:

When: Every Tuesday

Time: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM

February 20 - OIT engineers will be performing the following maintenance
at the State of Ohio Computer Center and Rhodes State Office Tower.  5
minutes outages are expected for all software upgrades
 
ISPSOC & ISPRHO - Correct routing issues
 
ISPSOC - Installation of new processors.  Test fail over

ISPSOC & ISPRHO - Add new routes
 
BBSOC5 (6500 Sup720) - Upgrade software
 
BBSOC3 (7200) - Move two DS3s from BBSOC8

February 27 - OIT engineers will be performing the following maintenance
at the State of Ohio Computer Center and Rhodes State Office Tower.

ISPRHO (12000) - Installation of redundant processors.
 
BBRHO5 (6500 Sup720) - Upgrade software
 
BBRHO4 (7200) - Upgrade Software.  Replace module.
 
BBRIF1 (3560G) - Upgrade Software
 
Work to be scheduled and performed in the near future
 
BBSOC3 (7200) - Consolidation of telecommunication facilities
 
BBSOCA - Upgrade software and module update
 
BBSOCB - Upgrade software and module update


Firewall Maintenance:

Next Scheduled Maintenance: February 20, 2007

Time: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM.


Network Statistics and Graphs

The statistics server (http://stats.ohio.gov) used to provide customer
link statistics is no longer active.  Statistics will, from this point
on, be provided on request from a new website running software from
Solarwinds.  If any agency wishes for their account to be moved over to
this new service, please submit a request to the OCSSC at ocssc at ohio.gov


Ohio Customer Service & Security Center - After Hour Service Escalation
Procedure

Effective immediately, the following after hour (Monday through Friday,
5:00pm - 7:00am and Weekends) escalation list should be utilized when
service related matters need to be brought to the attention of UNS-NA
management.

Customers should wait a minimum of 30 minutes before attempts are made
to contact the next level of support
