Here at the Putnam County District Library, when a patron signs up for a
card they also have the option to sign up for Internet Privileges. If a
parent does not want their children to have Internet privileges, they do
not sign the back of the sign up card. All patron Internet is filtered,
and can be unfiltered if requested by an adult. I was wondering how
other libraries handled this situation. Does everyone that has a
library card have computer/internet privileges? What time limits do you
have for patron use on the computers? Do you have waiting lists for
busier parts of the day?
Thanks,
