Office of Information Technology Customer Update - 

November 19, 2007 (Updated)

 

On Saturday November 17th and Sunday November 18th, OIT/SDD customers
experienced network 

latency and connectivity outages while attempting to connect to
resources within the OIT network. 

The issue was traced to a failing card in a switch bordering the OIT
Network.  Reseating the card 

restored connectivity, only to have the card fail again approximately 8
hours later.  The card was 

replaced on Sunday around 4:00 PM.  No problems have since been
identified or reported.

 

 

Network Maintenance:

 

When: Every Tuesday

 

Time: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM

 

No Network Maintenance Scheduled

 

 

Firewall Maintenance: 

 

Next Scheduled Maintenance: Tuesday, November 27, 2007

 

Time: 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
