A quick lookup indicated it may be: PIII/733, 512MB SDRAM, 10,000-rpm HD
You could get VMware Server s/w (free) and download openSUSE to learn.
Or Edubuntu and make a server for diskless workstations.
It might need another 512mb and a NIC for Edubuntu

Subject: [OPLINTECH] Old Server Available
We just replaced our Hewlett Packard Netserver LH3000, Windows NT4 and
Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and it is now available. It has a 10 and 30 Gb HD.
It is very large and generates some heat. There are wheels for easy
movement. All staff files have been removed. If anyone has an idea what
to do with old servers that still work, please let us know.
