[OPLINTECH] Codabar numbering question

Hello,

I'm trying to find some information about barcodes for library items and
I'm hoping someone who has already dealt with this particular problem
can offer some advice.

Our library has used 13-digit Codabar barcodes for a long time.  The
problem is we're soon going to run out of viable numbers for items.

We use a prefix of 1 for borrowers and 0 for items, with an
organizational code of 0060. Here is a sample item barcode number:
0006095020407.

Here are some options that have been mentioned:
- Just increment the number (e.g. 0006099999999 -> 0006100000000)
- Add another prefix for items (e.g. 90060)
- Change to a 14 digit number (adding a digit on the end)

Can anyone offer advice or suggestions?
