The beta 2 version fixes most of the incompatility issues. You really
need to start testing and looking at it now for your environment. The
sooner you start to learn about the extra nuances of IE 8 the better.

I would not go for the beta version though, I used it for about a week
and it was horrible, had lots of functions were not working right so I
had to uninstall it. I'm sure Microsoft will fix those issues when they
release the new edition.

The hits just keep on coming. Many websites will break when Microsoft
releases Internet Explorer 8 out to the world very soon. By the end of
2009 it will be on Millions o fcomputers. One of the features it has
added is called "Compatibility View" which will help show those pages
which do not conform to the new standards. Something else IT will
eventually inevitably have to manage. Sigh... for more info see here.
