Hi,Under control panel, open regional and language options then click on the langauge tab then supplemental language support and then click the box related to the desired language to be installed; also the first option at the top? text services and input languages? will allow you to switch the keyboard to different language than English by pressing ALT+SHIFT.If a patron is browsing the internet for websites in different language than English you can switch to the desired language by right click any part of this text then Encoding then select the language.Hope that helpsThanks

Subject: [OPLINTECH] typing in other languages
Hello colleagues, I know that our computers have the capability of sending messages in other languages (specifically, with other alphabets such as the Cyrillic) because when the county fair transient workers come to town in August they seem to have no trouble switching the keyboard and display. But I don't know how they do it, and now one of our local patrons would like to send a message in Ukrainian. Can someone give me a quick lesson in how to switch to and from another type of encoding? Thanks, Lynne Welch Herrick Memorial Library Wellington OH 44090 tel. 440-647-2120 _______________________________________________ OPLINTECH mailing list OPLINTECH at oplin.org http://mail.oplin.org/mailman/listinfo/oplintech
