We placed Open Office on the patron and staff desktops a couple of
years ago. Several staff members have taken to OO. Others use it
without noticing (i.e. we pathed Workflows to print reports to OO).
Also very nice to have the ability to have a copy at home for free. We
made sure that anyone who wanted a copy simply had to ask. Less patron
use but we do see people using the program here and there. The largest
user base is with college students.
