[OPLINTECH] How many of these do you subscribe to?]

Did you know that OPLIN has *three* different blogs, each with a
different purpose? (And we're not even including the main OPLIN website
in the count!). Here's a rundown:
*The OPLIN 4cast* (http://www.oplin.org/4cast/) is updated once per week,
and each week it gives a brief overview of 4 new technological
developments with links to additional resources if you want more
information. Great way to get just a few "bytes" of technology news
without being overwhelmed, or to catch developments you might otherwise
have missed.
*Ohio Library News *(http://www.oplin.org/ohiolibrarynews/) is where
OPLIN collates all the news we can find about Ohio's public libraries.
If an Ohio public library has been in the mainstream media, chances are
good you'll find out about it here. Don't forget to send your own
contributions to editor at oplin.org <mailto:editor at oplin.org> so we can
include them!
*
What Does This Mean to Me, Laura?* (http://www.oplin.org/meanlaura/) is
the new blog on the block. I spend a little time every so often
explaining about various Web 2.0 services or technologies in ways that
(I hope) make some sense to the non-technically inclined or show why
these things matter to public libraries. (It seems to have garnered the
nickname "Mean Laura," but I'm not *always* cranky. Honest.)
All three blogs are optimized for mobile devices and have RSS feeds.
Please share this message with your library's staff--you never know who
might be interested in learning more about what is happening on the Net
or in Ohio's libraries!
