What kind of security?  Are we talking about security for the area
itself (e.g., to ensure no unauthorized person is there after hours)?
Are we talking about protecting the staff?  The equipment?  (From
physical abuse?  Unauthorized reprogramming?  Remote network-based
exploits?)  Or maybe you want to protect the items themselves.
Reference materials?  Circulating items?

There are a lot of different kinds of security systems.
