[OPLINTECH] Linux Firewall/VPN

I am looking for a  VPN solution that I can run clients from windows machines and connect to a VPN. Cost is a key factor here so I am looking for some open source linux firewall/VPN installs. Plus as usual Linux distributions do not usually require the resources of other solutions. I really do not need the extra firewall application but need the VPN and they usually go hand in hand..  Is anyone out there using this type of configuration?
