In following the link to Interface.com mentioned here, I noticed that
this company also markets the cone-of-silence. <pause for laughter.>
Has anyone on the list had occasion to run a trial with that product and
if so, what was your impression?

We have used The Potomac Electronic Messaging System
(http://www.interface.com/ <http://www.interface.com/> ) at one of our
branches for a couple of years and have had no problems. For the
displays we used ViewSonic 42" LCD displays. These have been trouble
free as well.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to talk in
more detail.

If anyone out there on this list is using large flat screen TVs
or monitors to display information about programs at your library, I
would love to talk to you. Our community relations department would
like to set one up to use at a couple of our libraries and we are
looking at options. I am aware of the Potomac electronic messaging
system, and would like to hear from anyone who has set something like
this up using PowerPoint, or the Potomac system, or any other method.
If you've set one up could you please shoot me an email?
	Thanks! ~ Susan
