Description:  New to databases, the 2007 version of Access, or just looking
for a refresher course? This workshop is for you! 

This workshop will be presented in two separate classes, the first on
Wednesday, September 30, the second on Wednesday, October 7 at the SERLS
Office in Wellston. Your registration reserves your spot for both classes.

This two day class teaches the fundamentals of relational database design.
Students will create tables with an understanding of normalization rules and
field properties. This includes data validation, streamlining database size,
and proper indexing to maximize performance. Participants will learn to
create relational tables and use them in relational queries. Other query
topics include sorting, filtering, manual vs. automatic table linking, and
calculated fields. Students will also be taught form creation for data entry
and basic report creation.

Cost: Dues Paying Members of SERLS, NEO-RLS, 
           SWON and NORWELD (75% discount): $47.50
