[OPLINTECH] gateway warranty

I got this response to a warranty inquiry on one of our gateway
desktops.  We purchased in May 07 and had a 5 year warranty.

 

MPC Corporation and all of its direct and indirect subsidiaries
(collectively, the "Company") are in the process of liquidating their
assets. The Company will not be able to service your warranty needs or
fill any of your existing orders for goods or services. 

If you currently have systems located at one of MPC's repair facilities
identified below and would like the system returned directly to you,
please contact the appropriate facility directly to make arrangements
for return and/or repair of the system.  You will also need to make
arrangements with the repair facility to pay for the return and repair
of your computer.  

 

Other than the Nampa, ID repair facility, all of the locations listed
below are third party depots that contracted with MPC to maintain an
inventory of warranty parts and provide repair services.  When
contacting the repair facility, please provide the following information
to assist in expediting the return:  Company name, contact name, RMA
number, serial number, ship to address, phone and shipping information
such as account to charge or COD.

I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office today.  Not sure
if it will do any good but I had to do something.

Has anyone had any luck contacting Gateway/MPC support?  I have machines
still under warranty but all of my e-mails have been returned and I keep
getting a message about bankruptcy when calling.
