I know, the word policy makes me shudder too! Updating library manuals and
policy books can be a tedious task! Relief is here! Dr. Ron Stewart takes
the guess work out of policy creation with this interactive workshop! Don't
miss this opportunity! (and remember, library board members are welcome to
attend-simply register them as you would staff members).
Dr. Ronald A. Stewart holds a Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Studies -
Organizational Leadership and Management from The Union Institute and
University, a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Organizations from Case Western
Reserve University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communications
from Kent State University.
Dr. Stewart is passionately engaged in service to the nonprofit and public
sectors having served both large and small organizations. Among the
hallmarks of Dr. Stewart's consultation work is his tailored and practical
solutions for organizations, staff, and volunteers. His services include a
wide array of capacity building interventions such as executive coaching,
executive search, board development, policy development, planning,
evaluation, discussion facilitation, and fundraising. A native of rural
Ohio, Dr. Stewart currently resides in the desert of southern California.
Some of the areas covered in this workshop include:
. Why do Organizations Need Manuals and Policy Books?
. Cultural Competency considerations
