Good Morning,
Our printers are all networked and this has been working fine for us for many years. We did, however, purchase and install LPT:One Print Manager (Envisionware)last August to help manage the costs of patron use. This has been working well for us. We have both an HP LJ 4050 and an HP ColorLJ 3700 used by patrons. We have the default set to the black & white, but patrons can choose the color if they want. They have to pay at the Circ desk first before the print job is released. We feel this has really cut down on wasted paper & ink, as well as making sure payment is made for usage, and we have less problems with the printers.
