This is an important point. As a user of an Open Source ILS *you* own
your data, and you're not locked in to any one support company. If
your Koha (or Evergreen) support company isn't working out, you can
switch to another one without worrying about a migration--it's just a
data transfer.
The hidden cost of the migration from a proprietary ILS isn't just
that your new support company has to figure out how to import it
(migrations to Koha have been done from just about every other major
ILS I'd wager). The cost you might run into (as we did at Nelsonville)
is that your current vendor will charge you just to give you access to
your own data.
