Check out CASSIE by Librarica. www.librarica.com. We are in the process
of readying it for implementation in the not too distant future.

Subject: [OPLINTECH] Print release software
Does anyone use print release software to help manage
printing in your public computer lab?
We'll soon be selecting and implementing an automated
PAC and print management solution, but I'd like to find
something that will get us through the next 6-9 months.
We're about to replace the B&W printer in the lab with a
color printer. It would be great if we had some piece of
software that would grab the print job, hold it until a patron
could tell us whether they wanted to pay for color or b&w,
ideally tell us the number of pages, and then let staff
release or cancel the job.
Anyone using something that does that? Is it cheap?
