[OPLINTECH] Skype and videoconferencing policies (repost from the Feb. 15 posting on OPLINList)

I posted the following on OPLINList on February 15.
We were recently approached by a local community college career services
department about an individual wanting to use our facility (laptop, webcam,
meeting room) for an interview. What are your policies for such? I can
imagine this being viewed as both extension of our computer services AND/OR
extension of our meeting room policies.
We treated this occurrence as a special event, but as the library's Staff
Technology contact, I want to be ready to recommend current practice
policies and procedures should this become a more frequent occurrence. I
know what I would probably recommend, but I want to also understand how it
would be in-line or deviate from current thought and practice before I would
do so.
