[OPLINTECH] GCPL: Thoughts on Acer computers

Jim,

We were one of those Gates Grant libraries that invested in Acer PCs.  They
have been installed and in use for over a year now.   I have been really
pleased with their performance and reliability as public access PCs to date.

The only complaint that I have is that in order to register the units with
their support, I had to jump through some hoops as their system does (or at
least did)  not seem capable of supporting bulk updates of this information.

I'd be happy to answer any specific questions that you might have.
