[OPLINTECH] Scanner setup question

Hello,

We are planning to put scanners at our locations for use by the public.  
What we have are standard HP USB scanners.  Does anybody have any tips 
on how to best set this up, or software we might use?  Our staff 
computers are Windows XP, and public computers are XP or 7.
