[OPLINTECH] FW: netsh VNC

I just noticed that the second line that I copied and pasted has a spelling
error: should be portopening not protopening..sorry that will teach me to
read a little closer before posting (or at least it should).

These commands have been superseded, but, may still work:

 

netsh firewall add portopening TCP 5800 VNC-5800 ENABLE ALL
netsh firewall add protopening TCP 5900 VNC-5900 ENABLE ALL

 

If they don't work these should

 

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="vnc1" dir=in action=allow
enable=yes  profile=private protocol=TCP localport=5900

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="vnc2" dir=in action=allow
enable=yes  profile=private protocol=TCP localport=5800
