Virtual Services Manager 
Full Time--40-hours/week 
Description : 
The Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is seeking applicants for the newly created position of Virtual Services Manager, who will plan, coordinate, organize, supervise and execute system-wide virtual services and information literacy programs. 
Responsibilities : 
The Virtual Services Manager will provide leadership to expand the Library’s virtual services and extend library offerings beyond our library buildings into the online environment and social media spaces that people use every day. 
Must have a strong grasp of both customer service and user experience, as well as an understanding of web design and management skills, relevant online technologies, products and services, and be able to communicate potentially difficult technological topics in a manner that is easily understood. 
Virtual Services Manager will coordinate our web presence, provide collection development of eMedia (eBooks) and databases, keep staff up to date on the latest technologies and provide and coordinate public virtual services training. 
Qualifications: 
ALA accredited MLIS or equivalent. Experience in web or digital program and service planning, development and execution preferred. Proficient use of personal computers and associated software, Internet and web resources. Demonstrated ability in creating web documents and content, and use of web applications. Public Library experience preferred. 
Hiring Range : $ 44,000 – $48,000
